Since starting the Jungle Apocalypse podcast, I have been constantly inundated with requests for me to get specific people on the show.
Unfortunately, as of late, I’ve had very little interesting suggestions. The problem? I’m getting sick of the “alternative media” and had enough of the games, lies and profits. I’m constantly getting requests to have Ben Fullford on (or his super powerful friend Drake) or some other personality that is making fantastical claims. It won’t happen…
Why? Because I don’t cover bullshit.
Growing Up
At one time in my “conspiracy” career, I used to fall for these fantastic stories concocted by professional bull-shiters. That stopped years ago.
Now I greet each new story with skepticism and each new personality with a overwhelming sense of doubt.
Con men have existed since ancient times, and for some reason, the community that is always screaming about “truth” embraces these people with open arms.
Those of us that have been doing this for more than a decade will remember the many that have come before with these claims. They all fizzle out into the night, walking away with the hard earned money of people without critical thinking skills.
I thank my lucky stars that I have surrounded myself with people who take me to task on every “conspiracy theory” I have. They push me to find the evidence and make sure its solid.
Because of this need to verify things before I go spouting them off, I have gained a reputation with my social circles of being open, honest and always up for a good debate.
Unfortunately, my online life suffers from this need to verify. I’d venture that 50% of our daily visitors will have stopped reading this post after I called Fullford and Drake fake, never bothering to see if I provide any proof of my claim.
Over all, I don’t think most people really want to know the truth. The truth is hard.
Instead, they like to hear stories that touch on all their emotions, not their logic.
Case in point: Drake & Fullford’s claim that a secret “Anti-Illuminati” exists and they are going to assassinate the other elite for us.
Even typing that sentence was painful for me. Are we really naive enough to believe such claims? When I have asked for proof, these “researchers” blast me links to their blog posts claiming how they have inside knowledge of all these fantastical things. They take parts and pieces of official documents out of context and claim it as evidence.
Mix in a good portion of pulling at people’s emotional triggers and you have the makings of a good conspiracy scam. This is what Drake, Fullford, Jones, Wilcox and many many others use as a tool to sell their products.
Getting Real
The reason I continue to run Conspiracy HQ and do the podcast is their are good solid researchers out there. They have worked hard to verify what they cover and provide real proof of what they claim.
Thus the other 50% of my audience are good people who also can think critically. It is for this group that I continue to run this site and podcast for.
I know you are the people that read the full article and actually listen to what I’m saying.
Walking this path isn’t the easiest road. I’ve made many “enemies” from the “alternative media” for my willingness to call bullshit. I have been black listed by Alex Jones, Coast to Coast AM and many other “media” outlets for my constant need to question any theory that I will talk about.
While it hasn’t been easy, it has been rewarding. I have connected with many great true researchers who have amazing reach and capabilities to help provide insight into many of these articles, shows and videos.
Conclusion
I guess my point of this article was to help weed out some of the idiots. As soon as I claimed Fullford and Drake where fakes, they immediately called me a shill and started to ignore anything I post.
There isn’t a great conspiracy around every corner. Not everyone that works for the Government (even secretive 3 letter agencies) is out to kill you and your family. Most of the elite aren’t trying to depopulate the planet (though some are).
If we want to consider ourselves the “alternative” to the mainstream media, we need to start focusing on being logical, offering hard evidence and doing more than reading some conspiracy blog and claiming it as fact.
On Conspiracy HQ you may find research that may be based on speculation, but will always be labeled as such.
You may also find researchers that you don’t agree with, but at least they are open to suggestion and debate.
In short, lets all grow up and do what we were put on this earth to do.
