As I continue to study and research for The Sixth Extinction I keep getting nasty comments from the sheep that say “Educate yourself” or “This is all natural, you are a shill”.
I swear to god that I spend more time dealing with these idiots than I do working.
Not one of them has cracked a book and rely on Alex Jones or Lord Monckton to tell them that everything is ok, this isn’t their fault, go back to polluting.
It is with that in mind that I present to you the greatest conspiracy since the Franklin Coverup.
Climate Change: Fact or Fiction
I recently used the term “climate change deniers” in one of my articles. Almost immediately the email and Twitter messages started rolling in.
It was only 3 or 4 individuals but they all sent multiple messages screaming how I was uninformed, unintelligent or a down-right shill.
When I confronted them with my evidence and said “where is yours?” I was greeted with links to strange blogs, Infowhores and interviews with the illustrious Lord Monckton.
In fact, not one of them offered anything of real substance. Most of you regulars will know by now that I’m open to saying “I’m wrong” but I expect that the evidence be overwhelming.
Unfortunately, in this case I have found no evidence that I am wrong. In fact, the more research I do, the more I realize I’ve underestimated how bad the situation really is.
Real Research
Simply believing what a taking head told you, can not be considered proof.
This is what 90% of the so-called “alternative” media does. Instead of going to the library and getting the actual book, paper or video, they rely on this second hand information.
I can’t really blame them I guess, it’s a hell of a lot of work to read both sides of a scientific argument and try to decipher what it really means.
It is much simpler to do a quick Google search and cherry pick the articles that support your viewpoint.
Until you study both sides of an argument you can not consider yourself “informed” about a subject.
Don’t worry, I got caught up in that too over the years. I considered myself informed because I had heard someone rattle off facts on some radio show or documentary.
Now, I look at hard facts and I’m willing to say “I don’t know”.
Revelations
When I first began researching climate change I became convinced that it was a natural cycle and that it was ignorant to think humans could have that big of an effect on the environment.
I’d say things like “Volcanoes produce more CO2 in one eruption than mankind has throughout history!” or “All the planets in the solar system heating, so this can’t be man-made”.
I shake my head now thinking of how ignorant I was.
It wasn’t until just 3 years ago I began to realize that I wasn’t doing my own research.
A woman I’ve known since High-School had found me on Facebook. As we were catching up, I found that she had become quite an achieved Environmental Scientist and then went back to teaching high-school to have a stable home life with her family.
My initial reaction to this information was “oh great, another one of the kool-aid drinkers” automatically assuming that she had been brainwashed while attending University.
As I talked with her about my assumptions, she politely told me I was misinformed and I really need to check my facts.
I brushed this off as the “brainwashing” kicking in and never mentioned my thoughts on the subject again.
About a month after that conversation, I landed a job working for a mining company. I had the opportunity there to meet multiple Environmental specialists who study Industrial effects on the environment.
I would end up having to escort these people around the site for hours at a time.
If they seemed like the talkative type I would slide in the climate change subject. It was amazing, they all told me the same thing! Only one told me that it was all “over blown garbage“.
“AH HA! BRAIN WASHING!” I kept thinking.
But something was eating away at me inside, these people sure didn’t come off as brainwashed.
They would talk about how corrupt the government was, taking money from the oil and mining industry to keep quiet.
They liked meat, they drove cars and took trips.
They weren’t EnviroNazi’s, but each of them would become very serious when talking about industrial climate change.
After this I decided if I was going to break the brainwashing of these types of people, I would need to get just as informed as they are on the subject. That’s how the film was born.
Hard Facts
In 3 years I have gone from thinking it’s a conspiracy to knowing it’s a conspiracy.
It’s just the conspiracy wasn’t what I thought it was. Lets start with some of the more popular statements we hear in the alternative media.
1. “Volcanoes emit more CO2 in one erruption than man has since the industrial revolution”
I’m sorry, but that is blatantly false. I can find no supporting information to back up that statement.
While science has no firm way to measure CO2 emissions, a formula is used to estimate the over-all global output of emissions based on information collected from countries world wide.
The same formula is used for volcanoes based on sampling data from lava rocks and measurements taken at various volcano sites around the world.
The yearly estimate from volcano eruptions alone is around 200 million tonnes of C02 each year.
The industrial CO2 measures in at 26.8 billion tonnes.
2. “CO2 is a natural gas, the earth will be able to deal with it”
The only true evidence we have of CO2 in the atmosphere is based on samples taken from ice cores at both poles.
Over 3 million years various ice ages and warm periods have embedded been trapped in the massive glaciers and ice-packs that cover both poles.
According to those samples, low levels of C02 are recorded during “ice ages” and higher levels during natural warming periods.
In the ice cores previously mentioned, the highest concentration appeared around 300 thousand years ago at close to 300 parts-per-million (ppm) and this corresponded with the global high temperatures.
As of October 2012 we had risen to 391 ppm, dwarfing the last known warm period.
To give this perspective, concentration of CO2 during ice ages is around 180 ppm.
In fact, we have no idea how this change is going to effect the planet.
There is some unfounded expectation that the planet is “tough enough” to handle this little bit of damage humanity is causing, though there is no evidence that this is true.
We do not know.
3. “391 ppm is still just a small fraction of the gases in the atmosphere, as such has little to no effect!”
This might take a little bit to wrap your head around, but I will try to explain it the best I can.
The best parallel I could draw was a poisonous snake.
The venom contained in the glands of the snake are just a small part of the snake but they pack a massive punch.
The same could be said about CO2. It is only a small portion of the gases in the atmosphere but it contains unique properties that increase its effect.
CO2 is very effective at absorbing and releasing infrared light and increasing the “warming” effect of the energy passed through it.
It still may only play a small part in the over all warming, but it acts as a catalyst causing more intense effects from the results of the subsequent warming.
4. “The entire solar system is heating, thus it must be natural”
Yes, we are entering a “warmer” spot in the universe from all indications.
At this point I believe this to be caused by variations in magnetic fields in the galaxy that are effecting our sun. It is also possible that we are passing through gas cloud which is heating our solar system.
Regardless of the cause, the solar system is heating. This is only adding to the effect of the previously mentioned industrial causes.
I truly believe we may still be in trouble even if the industrial revolution did not happen.
Our increased reliance on fossile fuels, destruction of natural eco-systems and large pollution holding ponds have basically ensured poisoning of large parts of the world should something disrupt civilization.
The Real Conspiracy
While I could go on for hours about the various in’s and out’s of climate change facts and fictions, I want to wrap this up.
The real conspiracy here isn’t that we need to depopulate the world in order to save mother earth.
It is already to late to do so and is probably out of our hands anyway.
The real conspiracy is that you are being duped into arguing about the cause, not preparing for the effect.
Regardless of what is the biggest cause of global warming (something the previously mentioned specialists agreed with me on) we must prepare for the cataclysms that will come with the shifting environment.
The elite are just ensuring that a vast majority will not prepare because they think it’s all just “Fear mongering bullshit”.
The Georgia Guide Stones said “Maintain population at 500 million” not eliminate the population down to 500 million.
Mother nature is a much more effective killer than man could ever hope to be.
They’ll just let her do the work while they hide away waiting for things to stabilize.
Conclusion
It is now my belief that all this “climate change” arguing has been funded by the elite in order to give them time to prepare and leave the rest of us blind sided by the crumbling environmental stability.
If we had been told back when they figured it out, I’d venture half the world could have survived and made the proper preparation to do so.
As the world started to come together and resist rulers more frequently, they knew their time was up.
This event became a convenient way to rid themselves of our collective distrust of power and ensure that when they return we will be begging them for help to survive.
This article isn’t meant to make you feel bad for the way you live your life.
